“We are so thankful for Phuong Thao's workshop, “Discover your Boundary Imprint” in our online survivor-centered healing space series. Phuong Thao's workshop opened up a space where folks could critically engage with their boundary maps and boundary imprints in a way that felt safe, abundant, and healing.

Her facilitation gifts left so much room for pause and breathe, and was so grounded in nurturing a sustainable practice for folks beyond the workshop space. Phuong Thao elevated the conversation around boundaries especially in the way that she took care to described the different types of boundaries and in how she incorporated an understanding of how the body and nervous system holds trauma and therefore boundaries. Phuong Thao's analysis of how the body “stories” memories was so poignant in making space for folks to engage with their boundary stories, and to recognize boundary setting as a healing practice.

As a facilitator, Phuong Thao has a natural gift for giving folks space to be seen and heard, she was so intentional with the materials she created and gave participants so many accessible and tangible take-aways for applying boundaries in their lives. Her reassurance to “start where it feels safe” was such an energizing reminder of the care needed when “rewiring our minds” towards healing.

We hope to continue to build with Phuong Thao in the future, and recommend that anyone seeking a survivor-centered and generative healing workshop to invite her into your space. Thank you so much Phuong Thao for creating so much room for us to re-connect with ourselves, reclaim healing practices, and for inspiring all of us in who you are and this work you are so fiercely leading.”

“It was such a great pleasure working with Phuong Thao! We requested her for a workshop session presented at our annual Womxn’s Empowerment Summit. Phuong Thao was organized, quick to respond, and creative in her suggestions with our workshop request.

Phuong Thao’s workshop was about boundaries as community care from a womxn’s perspective. She included a presentation with information around the importance of an individual’s needs to themselves, but also, shared a lot of her personal journey with boundaries which we all really appreciated.

Attendees seemed to be engaged and learned a lot from her session. Overall, we would recommend working with Phuong-Thao to our colleagues and look forward to bring her back to campus soon!”

“I had the pleasure to be part of a panel with the amazing Phuong Thao Nguyen from the Uncaged Path. Our topic was on Difficult Conversations by way of navigating microaggressions and gaslighting. She brought such compassionate insights during our discussion and showed how vulnerability comes from courage not weakness. These are not easy conversations to have especially for women and her energy created a safe and effortless space to have very honest discussions. I highly recommend checking out Phuong Thao for personal coaching, workshops, and as a panelist."
